Community Involvement
ARN’s leadership team is actively involved in the communities where they live and operate restaurants, serving on numerous non-profit and community boards. These include organizations such as the Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation, Denver Health Foundation, Denver Hospice, Colorado Children’s Campaign, Denver Jewish Community Center, Denver Zoo Foundation, Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Restaurant Association, Denver Art Museum Latino Outreach Committee, Colorado Latin American Education Foundation, YPO Colorado, Denver Urban Peak, and others.
Furthermore, ARN is a large supporter of numerous local charitable organizations including Colorado Boys & Girls Clubs, Denver Venture School, Museo De Lás Americas, Denver Scholarship Foundation, Star Foundation, Latino Leadership Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Denver, Boy Scouts of America, Escuela Tateloco, National Jewish Foundation, Denver Urban Christmas Drive, and the Hispano Chamber amongst others.
Junior Achievement
Every time the Colorado Rockies score 7 or more runs in a game, Alvarado Restaurant Nation donated $250 to the Junior Achievement
Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation
Over the past decade we have worked with the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation, adopting classes and donating over $200,000 to support them from first grade through graduation.
Latin American Educational Foundation
Over the past decade, we have donated over $50,000 in scholarships to the Colorado Latin American Education Foundation.
Taco Bell Foundation
Partnered with Lorena Garcia in 2013 to raise over $800,000 as part of the “Live Mas to Give Mas” campaign.
